HoCo Mobile is the official Howard County government iPhone/iPad app portal which brings mobile-ready information and services to the residents of Howard County, Maryland.

In this portal is a set of "mini-apps." Some of these require location services and may operate in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The mini-apps included are:

Red Light Cameras
----------------------------
This app will enable users to view a map showing the locations stop lights with red-light cameras within Howard County (speed cameras are not yet included). The app can also be used like a radar detector: If you drive toward an intersection with a red-light camera facing you, the app will sound an alarm to warn you.

Contact Us
----------------
An address book for Howard County Government. Search by department, name, or keyword. Get addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and more.

Geodetic
-------------
Locate any geodetic station marker or benchmark within the county and review the recovery card information detailing it.

HoCo Live
----------------
Stream Howard Countys radio station, 1700 on the AM dial, to your device. Keep up on construction projects, road closures, information for emergencies and more.

Search Plans

Find out what building and construction plans exist for properties around Howard County, and review the documents from your device.

Human Rights

If you feel you have experienced discrimination in Howard County you are encouraged to use this mobile app to submit a discrimination inquiry to the Office of Human Rights. Once your inquiry is submitted, you will be contacted regarding your ability to file a charge of discrimination.
